Welcome to the 2011 Playoff Hockey Pool
This year The DSN Hockey Pool will be managed entirely on-line. Starting in April, you will be able to sign in to the DSN website to select your players for your DSN Play-off Pool. Players are assigned a dollar value and you get to select your team within a salary cap of $150.00. There are no restrictions on how many players you can select from each team, but you can only pick a maximum of 15 players. Goals or assists are each worth 1 point, and results will be live on the Direct Service Network website for you to follow during the play-offs.
Here are the directions to complete your Hockey Pool.
- To select your team visit www.chemicaltransportation.com and click on the main Hockey Pools Link on the bottom left corner of the website.
- Login to the site with the user name and password that has been provided. If you require a user name please contact Garry.Cleveland@chemicaltransportation.com for your username and password.
- Once in the site you will have several options available to you. A Show Menu link is available on the right which gets you into your authorized web applications.
- If Pools is not available please contact us to have this setup for you.
- The initial screen highlights the Pool Participants by Name. This also will include standing and score.
- To begin please enter the tie breaker score. This number will be used to settle a tie. The winner of the tie breaker must have a tie breaker number that is the closest to the total number of goals scored in the final series.
- You can then update your team by clicking on your name. This will bring up a list of your players with links to remove individual players or to add more players
- To add players click on the add players link. This screen will tell you what teams are in their stats and current position. This information is updated continuously.
- Select the team that you want to select a player from. The next screen will show you what players are available and what value is assigned to each player. players points and games played are also included on this page.
- Check off what players you are interested in and click save.
- Your total points and cost will be listed on the main page
Each person will have access to their pool information up until the deadline for the play-offs. Changes can be made on the fly and players can be replaced if injuries happen prior to the play-offs starting. Once the play-offs start your selections can not be changed.
