FLATBED SIZE LIMITS:

1. Any shipment over 8' 6" wide is considered over width. Anything over 11’ 6 wide needs an escort.

2. Maximum length allowed before permits is 10% longer than the trailer length (eg. 4' overhang on a 48' trailer)

3. Maximum height for a flatbed is 8' 6".

4. Maximum height for a single drop deck flatbed is 10' 2"

5. Maximum legal height for a double drop deck flatbed 11' 6". Anything higher than that can be moved but you need special permits and the truck has to be routed so that there are no problems with bridges
